Clients will be invited to a secure portal that manages billing and provides receipts for services. 

Additionally, insurance will be verified before our first session, typically within 1-3 days of our initial consultation. 

 I currently use a HIPAA-compliant portal that each client will have access to. Through this portal, I can securely send documents, message clients, and provide links for telehealth sessions. 

 Your time is incredibly valuable to me, and I set aside our time without distractions or overlapping bookings. To ensure a smooth experience, I have implemented the following policies:

• If you are unable to attend a scheduled session, please cancel at least 24 hours in advance.
• Failure to provide a 24-hour notice will result in a $50 late cancellation fee.

 I understand that emergencies can happen, and I will do my best to accommodate and reschedule when necessary and appropriate.

• Insurance Limitations: Insurance plans may have restrictions on coverage, such as limited session counts or specific diagnoses. Paying privately allows for more flexibility.
• Confidentiality: Some individuals prefer to keep their mental health services private and may feel more secure without involving insurance companies, which could require sharing personal information.
•  Personalized Care: Therapists can focus solely on your needs without adhering to insurance company constraints. 
• Access to Preferred Providers: Paying privately enables clients to choose therapists who may not be in their insurance network or to work with specialists in certain areas.
